Certifications

To inspect automatic suppression systems in Canada servicing companies must comply with the Canada by-law Service Personnel Qualifications:

A certificate of training, acceptable to a designated employee, from a public post secondary educational institution, or certification in accordance with ULC/ORD-C1254.18, "The Servicing of Restaurant Cooking Area Extinguishing Systems", or a current certificate of training from the manufacturer of the specific Wet or Dry Chemical Extinguishing System.

Currently in Canada to service or inspect fire extinguishers a company requires either Warnok Hersey, or ULC certification in order to comply with provincial fire code.

To service or install automatic fire suppression systems a company must be certified by the individual manufacture of the specific product to comply with provincial fire code as outlined in the fire code references below.

CFAAOur Fire Alarm Technicians are all CFAA certified.

CFAA certification is provided by post-secondary institutions, as well as having to spend 2000 hours in the field under the direct supervision of a licensed CFAA technician.

Our alarm technicians have also received factory training from both Siemens, and Potter fire alarm systems. As well as attend technical seminars to stay current with an ever changing industry. This allows us to provide the most up to date service for you.

Our Sprinkler Technicians are registered in the province as this is a recognised trade. Our Journeymen strive to stay current in this challenging industry, as well work diligently to train apprentices as they grow through the various levels in their career.
